GROUP FACILITATOR

It all begins with an idea. RISE DeSoto — The Movement

Building a City of Belonging, Leadership, and Transformation

RISE Groups are the heartbeat of RISE DeSoto’s vision to see people belong, lead, and transform.
Every Circle, Meet-Up, and Cohort exists to cultivate authentic relationships, spiritual growth, and personal transformation across our city.

What is the difference between the three?

RISE Circles | Community-Based Discipleship - Geographic, relational groups for spiritual growth and transformation that are rooted in neighborhoods and communities.

RISE Meet-ups | Connection Points - Point of entry gatherings that are social, relational, and easy to join. Open to everyone, meet in various places, and are interest/lifestyle based.

RISE Cohorts | Short-Term Equipping Groups - Focused, time-bound groups for leadership development and specialized training.

Each group is guided by a Team of Three:

  • Host — provides the environment

  • Facilitator — leads the experience

  • Navigator — ensures connection and care

Together, these roles form the foundation of our community transformation movement. In some cases one individual may hold multiple roles
